On 28 November 2025, during the 2025 Legal Clinics Forum, the Legal Clinic of Sumy State University was awarded a letter of appreciation by the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine for its significant contribution to the development of the nationwide network of legal clinics.
It is particularly noteworthy that a substantial contribution to the Clinic’s activities is made by Associate Professor Rudenko of the Department of Administrative, Economic, Financial and Environmental Law (AEFEL). His active involvement in shaping both the educational and practical components of the Clinic’s work, along with his professional expertise and engagement, enhances the quality of free legal aid, promotes legal awareness among citizens, and strengthens the practical training of law students.
The team of the SumDU Legal Clinic expresses its sincere gratitude to the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine for the high evaluation of its work and for supporting its initiatives. The Clinic also highlights the essential role of Associate Professor Rudenko in advancing clinical legal education and implementing important legal projects.
The received distinction inspires the team to continue its development, introduce new formats of community engagement, and foster a robust environment for practical legal training within the University.
