DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW OF THE INSTITUTE OF LAW

From November 25 to November 29, 2024, the Head of the Department of Administrative and Commercial Law and Financial and Economic Security, Oleksandr Ilchenko, and Associate Professor Tetiana Shlapko participated in the professional development program for cash-in-transit specialists of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Central Vault, titled “Organizing the Transportation of Valuables in the NBU System.”

During the program, participants explored the following topics:

  • Law, legal relations, and legal liability: Types of legal liability in the work of cash-in-transit employees.
  • Circumstances excluding liability: Situations where cash-in-transit employees are exempt from liability.
  • Organization of currency transportation in the NBU system: Rights and responsibilities of cash-in-transit personnel and operational vehicle drivers. Use of new information technologies and technical means to protect valuables during transportation operations.
  • Analysis of criminal assaults: Review of criminal incidents targeting cash-in-transit teams during currency transportation and the implementation of effective countermeasures.
  • Grounds and procedures for the use of firearms and physical force: Guidelines for cash-in-transit employees.
  • Labor legislation in Ukraine: Key provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Labor Protection,” organization of occupational safety, and adherence to workplace safety standards and regulations.

Upon completing the professional development program “Organizing the Transportation of Valuables in the NBU System,” all participants successfully passed their assessments and received state-standard certificates of qualification. Congratulations!
