📢 Announcement of the IX International Scientific and Practical On-line Conference “REFORMING THE LEGAL SYSTEM IN THE CONTEXT OF EUROPEAN INTEGRATION PROCESSES”

The Academic and Research Institute of Law of Sumy State University invites scholars, researchers, legal practitioners, and students to participate in the IX International Scientific and Practical On-line Conference “Reforming the Legal System in the Context of European Integration Processes”, which will be held on May 23–24, 2025 in a distance and extramural format.

🔍 The aim of the conference is to facilitate academic discussion and exchange of ideas regarding pressing issues in legal system reform in the context of European integration.

🧑‍⚖️ The conference will be held in the following thematic sections:

1. History and theory of state and law, philosophy of law

2. Constitutional law, municipal law

3. International public law and private international law

4. Environmental law, land law, agrarian law

5. Civil law and procedure

6. Commercial law and procedure

7. Family law, housing law

8. Labor law, social security law

9. Administrative law and procedure, financial law, information law

10. Criminal law, criminal executive law, criminology

11. Criminal procedure, criminology

12. Intellectual property

📝 To participate, please submit the following to nnip.sumdu@gmail.com by May 20, 2025 (inclusive):

1. Completed participation form

2. Abstract of the report (3–5 A4 pages, formatted according to the requirements)

📌 Important formatting instructions:

• Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5, justified alignment

• Margins: top/bottom – 2 cm, right – 1.5 cm, left – 3 cm

• First line indent – 1.25 cm

• No editing will be done by the organizers — submissions must be fully checked by the author

• Only abstracts in Ukrainian or English will be accepted

• Abstracts citing sources published in Russian or originating from Russia or Belarus are strictly prohibited

📗 The conference proceedings will be published as an electronic abstract collection and made publicly available through the Repository of Sumy State University within one month after the event.

📎 Each participant may submit up to three abstracts (including those under academic supervision).
