DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW OF THE INSTITUTE OF LAW

Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative, Commercial Law and Financial and Economic Security of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law Maria V. Kolesnikova and Senior Lecturer of the same department Yevheniia V. Mykhailovska took part in the international Winter School on children’s rights protection (Winter School “Contemporary Challenges in Protecting Children’s Rights”).

The event took place on February 24–26, 2026, and was organized by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin (Republic of Poland). The Winter School was held online and brought together members of the academic community from different countries.

The Winter School programme focused on contemporary challenges in the field of children’s rights protection, including issues related to the protection of children’s rights in armed conflicts, the activities of international organizations in the field of human rights, as well as the role of the state and public authorities in developing effective mechanisms for safeguarding children’s rights. The event featured lectures and academic presentations by leading European scholars and experts.

Participation in international academic and educational events contributes to the development of international cooperation, exchange of academic and practical experience, and the implementation of modern European approaches in the teaching and research activities of the Department.
