On June 3, 2025, the Department of Administrative, Economic Law and Financial-Economic Security held a lecture on the academic discipline Labor Law, dedicated to the topic “Supervision and Control over Compliance with Labor Legislation”. The session was delivered by lecturer O.P. Horban.
The lecture featured a guest expert — Olena Chernyshova, Deputy Head of the Labor Issues Division of the Inspection Activities Department in Sumy Region of the North-Eastern Interregional Directorate of the State Labor Service of Ukraine.
The session covered key aspects of the activities of the State Labor Service, in particular:

the structure, powers, and functions of the State Labor Service;

procedures for labor inspections;

legal liability for violations of labor legislation.
Students had the opportunity to pose questions and received detailed, practice-oriented answers directly from a qualified specialist. This interaction significantly deepened their understanding of the topic and enhanced the practical relevance of the material studied.
