DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW OF THE INSTITUTE OF LAW

The Department of Administrative, Economic Law and Financial and Economic Security (AEL&FES) is actively integrating into the global educational space by initiating new international projects.

Sumy State University, together with the University of the Atemajac Valley (UNIVA, Guadalajara, Mexico), is implementing a new online virtual mobility program for students — ‘Anti-Corruption and Integrity: Critical Thinking and Argumentation’. The Ukrainian coordinator of this program is Nadiia Horobets, Senior Lecturer at the Department of AEL&FES. On the Mexican side, the project is co-coordinated by Senior Lecturer José Alfredo Vargas Uribe (representing the Department of Social and Humanities and the Department of Economic-Administrative Sciences and International Business at UNIVA). The program is designed for bachelor’s students majoring in ‘Law’ and ‘Law Enforcement’. It aims not only to familiarize students with anti-corruption standards but also to teach them how to work in an international environment. Under the mentorship of the coordinators, students from both countries will explore practical cases, share experiences in solving specific problems, and improve their argumentation and human rights protection skills through joint presentations. We are proud of the active international work of our lecturers, who open up new opportunities for global networking and professional growth for our students!
