Head of the Department of Administrative, Commercial Law, and Financial and Economic Security, Associate Professor Oleksandr Ilchenko, took part in a sports and wellness event – a tourist hike along the Chornohora Ridge of the Carpathian Mountains.
The event was organised with the support of the Trade Union of Sumy State University and the public association “Sparta–SumDU”. Participants had the opportunity to enjoy the unique beauty of the Ukrainian Carpathians, improve their physical endurance, and strengthen team spirit.
During the hike, the group visited the picturesque Nesamovyte Lake, one of the highest mountain lakes in the Ukrainian Carpathians, and ascended Pip Ivan Peak (2,028 m), home to the famous “White Elephant” observatory.
Such activities promote an active lifestyle, encourage informal communication among university staff, and contribute to the development of a strong corporate culture.
